I am passionate about people, figuring the insides and outs of them and giving them the empathy they deserve. I hope to be able to study the mind as well as something in medicine, or even forensics. If this doesn't work out for me, I would love to do something more creative!

Being a good citizen means doing things out of the goodness of your heart and for the care of others, instead of doing things selfishly. For example, something like a road cleanup or a dinner for less fortunate people would be great ways to show your empathy for the community. Oftentimes, people find this kind of "work" daunting and not worth it, as they will get nothing in return. However, to truly have a positive impact on others, it is necessary that one cares more about their community than their own selfish needs, at times.
When it comes to voting, it is important that we have that right. We live in a democratic nation where we are allowed to choose who we want to lead us and make decisions based on our own opinions. If we didn't have the opportunity to do this, we would likely have one person dictating our government and rules, which would lead to a place we would not want to be.
Without the Constitution, we would not be where we are today in America. It has given us rights that many other countries dream of having, and the fact that it is set in place and cannot be changed by any president brings peace to a lot of people. Without it, we would be trapped and lost, not the free nation that we are today where we are allowed to have different opinions, while also abiding by the law and what we know is right. One of the most important parts of the Constitution is the First Amendment, which protects freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. Without these freedoms, we would all be confined into a small box, forced to be the same as one another. Because of this amendment, we are able to use our voices to speak up and out about things that we are passionate about. Protestors can make a change when they come together and fight for a cause that they truly believe in. If this was not allowed, we would never see change and growth in the country. No matter how seemingly "perfect" a place is, there is always room for improvement, and if we were to not have these kinds of freedoms, we would have nowhere to go.
Ultimately, just being a good person is a pivotal part of society as a whole, and even goes outward into a larger scale, like the government. We want a kind person to overlook the country, someone who we can trust with our lives. So, priding oneself on doing good for the community is a great character trait, and is something that I have always done. If there is any way that I find I can help out in my community, I'll take the opportunity.
